Rush Hour: A simple message

To me, this video illustrates that a combination of well thought-out elements can produce a theme and a message that does not require the usual narrative arc of exposition, conflict, resolution and yet contains a good level of tension. The messages I got were clear: vehicle ownership is part of our lifestyle dream; we seem to spend a lot of time rushing about, even exactly repeating the same pattern of rushing about; the contrast between the opening of blue sky, birdies tweeting and green trees with the noise and rush of what follows. One vimeo comment asked for a climax at the end, a crash or similar. I think it works better as is: the ending, which is a continuation of what has gone before, tells us nothing will change and people will go on rushing and dreaming.
The comments tell me this was rotoscoped in After Effects. It is very well done.
